Cedar Rapids and Iowa City both had lower foreclosure and mortgage delinquency rates in September 2013 compared to the same month last year, new data shows.

In the recent data released by CoreLogic, only a 3.04 percent mortgage delinquency was recorded this September as opposed to last year’s 3.51 percent. In Iowa City, mortgage delinquencies recorded this September were only 1.61 percent compared to last year’s 2.11 percent.
